Bob Barr, Libertarian

From 1995 to 2003, Bob Barr served in the U. S. House of Representatives for Georgia. He now practices law with the Law Offices of Edwin Marger and runs a consulting firm, Liberty Strategies LLC. Barr was appointed by President Reagan to serve as the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia in 1986-90, and served as President of Southeastern Legal Foundation from 1990-91.

Chuck Baldwin, Constitution

Chuck Baldwin was born in Le Porte, Ind. in 1952. Baldwin enrolled at Liberty Bible Institute at Liberty College, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in theology. Baldwin has received two honorary Doctorate degrees. Baldwin is a founder and minister at the Crossroad Baptist Church in Pensacola, Fla.

Cynthia McKinney, Green Party

Cynthia McKinney earned a Bachelor of Arts in international relations from the University of Southern California in 1978 and a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts University. Since being elected in 1992 as the first African-American Congresswoman from Georgia, she has sat on both the Armed Services Committee and the Budget Committee, and throughout her six terms in Congress has been a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, the Progressive Caucus.

John McCain was born Aug. 29, 1936, at Coco Solo Naval Air Station in the Panama Canal Zone. At the time of his birth, the McCain family was stationed in the Panama Canal Zone, under American control. McCain graduated fifth from the bottom of his class from the Naval Academy at Annapolis in 1958, and graduated from flight school in 1960.

For several elections, Ralph Nader has been sidelined by the heavyweight Democratic and Republican nominees, and maligned by both parties for throwing a variable into the race. While Nader's attempts at the White House have proved unsuccessful, he has long been a staunch environmentalist and advocate for consumer rights.

Barack Hussein Obama II was born Aug. 4, 1961 to a Kenyan father and American mother. He is the junior senator from Illinois and the first black Democratic presidential nominee. Obama graduated from Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he served as president of the Harvard Law Review.

Having been Senator of Delaware for nearly 36 years, Joe Biden has the longest career in Congress of any of the contenders in the presidential race including John McCain, who has been Senator of Arizona for only 21 years. He attended the University of Delaware and earned Bachelor of Arts degree, double majoring in history and political science in 1965.

Sarah Palin was elected Governor of Alaska in 2006. Less than two years later, she was appointed as John McCain's running mate. She is a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and has a passion for hunting, so much in fact she is known to hunt as much as she can, and keeps a freezer full of wild game.
